That is, long lines of ATVs on the weekends make it impossible to enjoy the walking and biking path, and at times we have to either cover our faces or turn and run in another direction to avoid the dust, if we hear them coming in time to avoid them. On this trail, the animals (fox, woodchucks, rabbits, and deer) who used to live there and have dens in the summer are gone. We have friends who live in the town of Pittsburg who can no longer leave their windows open, sit outside, walk along the street, or work in their gardens during the summer months due to the noise, dust, and smell of ATVs. Many people do not dare to speak up or complain because they are bullied and harassed by their "friends," neighbors, politically powerful business associates, or co-workers.
